Máté Bikfalvi, the owner of Pennonia, shares thoughts on the ink colour: The ink was conceived as gift for the Christening of my niece. It’s an interesting ink in many ways. It only has one base dye thus the chromatography will not show any hidden colors, however the dye used to create it is special. It’s special because it is fluorescent and shines brightly when exposed to ultra-violet light. It’s an interesting hidden effect of the ink that’s worth knowing about. This trait also makes the ink appear opaque in the bottle especially during daytime.
In regular use the ink is a beautiful, bright and vibrant pink.
Like almost all Pennonia inks, Abigail has good shading properties making it not only great for writing but for sketching and painting as well.
Note: Bottles shown are 50ml, however, Pennonia has recently switched to 60ml bottles! They're just a little taller but share the same qualities as the 50ml bottles.
